Quick answer: If you're flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO) for Thanksgiving week, book your private car before you fly and book the ride home at the same time. With Grayson Towncar, a Towncar from MCO to any Walt Disney World resort is a flat $105 one way ($195 round trip) for up to 4 people, and an SUV for up to 6 is $140 one way ($275 round trip). Your chauffeur tracks your flight, meets you inside baggage claim with a name sign, and can include a free 20-minute grocery stop on the way if you add it ahead of time.
Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, 2026, and the days around it are some of the busiest travel days of the year. Here's how to make the airport part of your holiday the easy part.
Book early, and book both directions
Holiday weeks are busy for every kind of ground transportation. Booking ahead locks in your ride and your fare, and booking the return trip at the same time means you won't be hunting for a car on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, when everyone else is heading to the airport too.
When you book, send us:
- Your airline and flight number for the arrival (we track it, so a delay doesn't cost you your ride)
- Your resort, hotel or vacation home address
- How many people are traveling, how many suitcases, and how many car seats or boosters you need
- Whether you want the grocery stop
- Your departure-day flight time, so we can set a pickup that gives you plenty of time at the airport
You can book online on our rates and booking page.

Staying near Universal or on International Drive instead? The Towncar fare from MCO is the same $105 one way ($195 round trip), and the drive from MCO to International Drive takes about 20 to 25 minutes. Other areas, like Kissimmee and ChampionsGate, are listed on the rates page. More on the Disney route: MCO to Disney World car service and Walt Disney World transportation.
Traveling with the whole family? Pick the right vehicle
Thanksgiving trips often mean grandparents, cousins and a lot more luggage than a usual vacation. Count suitcases as well as people. A Towncar takes up to 4 guests and 3 suitcases. If you have more bags than that, move up to the Mini Van (5 suitcases) or the SUV (6 suitcases). For bigger family groups, the Van seats up to 10 with room for 11 suitcases, and the Van (14 Pax) seats up to 14 with room for 14 suitcases, so everyone rides together.
Car seats are free. Your chauffeur installs infant seats, convertible seats and boosters before you get in. A Towncar takes 1 car seat or booster, the Mini Van takes 1 car seat and 1 booster, and the SUV and both vans take 2 car seats and 2 boosters. See car seats and family rides for details, and our MCO tips for families with young kids.
The grocery stop: stock up for the holiday
If you're cooking at a vacation home or just want snacks and breakfast for the room, the grocery stop saves you a separate trip. Here's how it works, per our reservation policies:
- Airport pickups can include a 20-minute stop at Publix, 9930 Universal Blvd.
- Add it when you book, or text us by the day before you land. Same-day requests usually don't fit around other reservations, and when one does, there's an additional stop charge.
- The 20 minutes run from when the car pulls in to when it pulls out. Past 20 minutes there's a $30 fee, plus $1 for every extra minute.
- If your flight is more than two hours late, we may have to skip the stop so your chauffeur can make his next pickup. We'll text you before you land.
Our best tip for a holiday week: pre-order your groceries for curbside pickup before you fly, and set the pickup time for about an hour after you land. You pull up, the groceries come out, and you're on your way.
Landing at MCO: what to expect
Your chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you inside baggage claim with a name sign. If your flight is delayed, we adjust on our end, so there's no need to call.
After your flight lands, you have a 60-minute grace period to get picked up. Most guests are with their chauffeur within 30 to 40 minutes. Past 60 minutes, there's a wait fee of $100 for each additional hour, and lost bags and customs holds count toward that time. Turn airplane mode off when you land, because your chauffeur will text you.

Late flights and red-eyes
Holiday schedules often mean late arrivals. We run 24/7, so a late-night landing is no problem. Pickups between 10 PM and 6 AM have a flat $20 after-hours fee, which is included in your total when you book online. If a flight delay pushes your pickup into those hours, we add the $20 and email you.
Going home: the Sunday after Thanksgiving
Book your departure pickup when you book your arrival. For hotel and home pickups, a 4:00 PM pickup means you're in the vehicle at 4:00 PM with everyone and all the bags. You get a 10-minute grace period. If you're running behind, we can hold the car up to 15 more minutes for $30. At 25 minutes, the car has to leave for its next guest, and that counts as a no-show.
Not sure what time to leave for the airport? Our guide on how early to arrive at MCO covers it, and on a holiday weekend it's smart to give yourself extra time.
Thanksgiving Day plans in town
If you're heading out for a holiday dinner, visiting family across town, or making a few stops in one day, you can book a car and chauffeur by the hour instead of separate rides. Hourly chauffeur service starts at $105 an hour for a Towncar (Executive Sedan), $120 an hour for an SUV, $130 an hour for a Passenger Van and $160 an hour for the Van (14 Pax), with a 5-hour minimum on every vehicle.
Good to know before you book

- Airline cancelled your flight? Send us the notice and we'll make it right.
- Extra stops: any stop that isn't on your reservation costs extra, so tell us about it ahead of time.
